Thanks to Carol Jacobs of Greenland Grove Animal Sanctuary for providing care, feed and a paddock in exchange for monthly fees which also helps financially support her many rescued animals!

Peppermint Patty a traumatised captive bred female Salvin`s Amazon (Amazona autumnalis salvini) Parrot born in 2000 (who hangs upside down and flutters her wings at me when she wants attention) whose mate was killed by rats in an aviary while owned by someone else prior to 2003. She has now paired again with a captive bred Blue-fronted Amazon (Amazona aestiva aestiva) Parrot born in 2004 named Snoopy (who shouts "Hello" at me when he wants attention) with the help of Riverbank Aviaries (Both parrots included on CITES II - Endangered Species list) Yes, they do both like Peanuts!
